Orlando - The City Of Theme Parks

Orlando is one of the most wonderful cities of the world. It is the city of wonderful resorts, tremendous theme parks, elegant hotels. Orlando is located in Orange County, Florida.

Orlando offers numerous attractions for children. Here are some must-visit places for kids.

Walt Disney World – located in Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake, Florida, outside Orlando - is the world’s largest and most frequented recreational resort. The resort features 4 theme parks, themed hotels, and numerous shopping, dining, amusement, and recreation venues.

Universal Orlando Resort is the second largest theme park resort, after the Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida. The resort features 2 Theme Parks: Universal Studios Florida & Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk: a night-time entertainment venue, and 3 Loews hotels.

SeaWorld Orlando is the famous marine theme park located near Orlando, Florida. It features Kraken (rollercoaster), Journey to Atlantis, Animal Exhibits – Penguin Encounter, Shark Encounter, Pacific Point Preserve, and Wild Arctic.

Wet 'N Wild is a fantastic water park, located in Orlando, Florida. Often considered as the first major Water Park in U.S., Wet’NWild was founded in 1972, by SeaWorld creator George Millay, who has been named “Father of the Waterpark”. The park features thrill rides, multi person rides, kids’ rides, and other activities.

Discovery Cove is a terrific theme park located in Orlando, Florida. The park offers interactions with a variety of marine animals, such as bottlenose dolphins, tropical fishes, rays, exotic birds, and land mammals. You can also enjoy swimming with dolphins.

Gatorland is a wonderful ‘theme park & wildlife preserve’, located outside Orlando, along South Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County, Florida. The 110-acre park features alligators, crocodiles, reptile shows, aviary, petting zoo, swamp walk, and educational programs.

Holy Land Experience is a fantastic ‘theme park & biblical museum’, located in Orlando, Florida. The 15-acre museum features several exhibits and presentations based on the Old and New Testament themes. It’s one of the “must visit” places in Orlando.

Orlando Science Center is a marvelous center striving to promote the learning & understanding of science & technology. The Center features NatureWorks, KidsTown, Our Body The Universe Within, Bright House Family Lounge, Rockwell's Holiday Exhibit, BodyZone, DinoDigs, Techlabs, and The Science Of Milk.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Orlando Auditorium is an unbelievable exhibition set up by the Orlando-based Ripley Entertainment, Inc. It features bizarre artifacts, strange collections, photographs, weird art/hobbies and interactive exhibits, and cartoon panels in sixteen odd galleries.
